According to small business owners, $500. At least that was their response to a recent eVoice survey. For them, time ranked highest on the list of most valuable assets, even surpassing commodities like laptops and mobile phones.

So why are small business owners in such a time crunch? In an era where new applications and technologies are intended to make life and business easier, shouldn’t business owners have more time than ever before? As it turns out, much of the shortage of time can be attributed the amount of jobs one takes on in a given day. For the average small business owner, that can be between three and five roles.
